Strong resume bullets start with a powerful action verb and end with a measurable result — not a passive description of your responsibilities. This generator takes what you did and the result you achieved, and rewrites it into several bullet variations using a curated library of 70+ strong action verbs grouped by category (leadership, achievement, technical, communication, creative, analytical).
How to use it
- 1Describe the task or project in plain language, without starting with a verb (e.g. "the onboarding flow for new users") — the generator adds a strong action verb for you.
- 2Add a result or metric if you have one (e.g. "a 22% increase in activation rate") — this makes a huge difference in how strong the bullet reads.
- 3Choose a verb style, or leave it on "All categories" for the widest variety.
- 4Click "Generate bullets" and copy the ones that fit best. Click "Regenerate" for a fresh set of verbs.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Starting bullets with "Responsible for" or "Worked on" instead of a strong action verb.
- Leaving out numbers — even an approximate metric ("~20%", "a team of 5") makes a bullet far more credible.
- Repeating the same action verb across multiple bullets on a resume — vary them for readability.
- Writing bullets that describe duties rather than outcomes.

Why does the same input generate different results each time?
The generator randomly selects a subset of strong action verbs from the chosen category each time you click "Generate" or "Regenerate", so you get fresh variety to choose from rather than one fixed answer.
Should every bullet have a number in it?
Not every single one, but aim for most of them. If you don't have an exact metric, a reasonable estimate or scope indicator (team size, timeframe, scale) still adds credibility.
